Zamboanga: Latter-day Saints Charities donates cold storage vaccine transport boxes and vaccine cards to DOH 9

The Latter-day Saints Charities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Charities has donated cold storage vaccine transport boxes and vaccine cards to the Department of Health (DOH) regional office 9 Monday morning at the Zamboanga Stake Center Tomas Claudio St., this city.

Bro. Ronald A. Aban, WSR Manager, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said contributions came from the members of the church for this donations to be realized.

“This is to heed to the invitation of Jesus Christ to come follow him and do good,” Aban said.

Four cold storage vaccine transport boxes were donated by the church at P120,000 each and 30,000 vaccination cards worth P30,000.

The temperature of the vaccine carrier can be adjusted and it can carry 2,000 doses of vaccines.

DOH 9, regional director, Dr. Joshua Brilliantes was greatful for the donations and this will be used for the immunization program of the department.

This will be used for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccine and for the vaccines being use for the routine immunization such as polio, Hepatitis B, and others. (R.G. A A. Go)
