Officers from Gateway Davao Parts and Tires, the second largest truck dealership in the nation, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor John Dalipe in the latter’s office on the afternoon of May 4, 2023. During the visit, Chief Operating Officer Miguel Antonio B. Guino-o expressed their intent to expand and launch a branch in Zamboanga City to complement their dealers in the cities of Davao and Cagayan de Oro. The group presented Mayor John with an orange truck as a token of their visit.
By locating the dealership here, businesses relying on trucks for various transport and operations no longer have to wait for weeks to procure replacement parts in the event of repairs. This development introduces ease of doing business for businesses and truck operators in the city by bringing the supplies closer to the consumers. In addition, the company shall generate employment for Zamboanguenos in the near future.
