Barangay Zone I residents undergo information session on how to control and prevent dengue fever, a mosquito-borne disease on the third and last day of the Dengue Awareness campaign launched by the City Health Office, Thursday, June 29.
The 3-day renewed dengue awareness campaign was launched Monday, June 26 and covered the 10 barangays with highest dengue attack rate – Pasobolong, Mercedes, Zone I, Boalan, Culianan, Mangusu, Lunzuran, Cabaluay, Zambowood and Divisoria.
The activity was spearheaded by the CHO-Sanitary Inspection Unit.
Nonetheless, the anti-dengue campaign is year-round, as CHO personnel, in coordination with the different barangays, continue to conduct activities to prevent and control the disease.
