The City Health Office has reported that more than 545 medical frontliners which belongs to the A1 category already got their Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) booster shot which started Monday.
City health officer, Dr. Dulce Amor D. Miravite, said vaccines used for the A1 priority were Pfizer, Moderna, and Sinovac.
This started at the government hospitals and Miravite said, they are still waiting for additional vaccine supplies and logistics from the Department of Health to continue the roll out for the A1 population.
It is reccomended that the individuals get their booster shot where they got their first two Covid 19 vaccine doses Miravite said.
Those eligible for booster shot are A1 category who were vaccinated six months from their second dose.
Booster shot is given to health workers first as they are vulnerable to Covid 19 to give them additional protection.
In the city, 35,581 from the A1 category got their first and second dose of Covid 19 vaccine.
