A farmer listed as Top 2 most wanted man listed in the Municipality of Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte was arrested by combined police operatives from four units at another province.
Police B/Gen. Jesus Cambay, PRO9 Director in a press statement claimed elements of Dumingag Municipal Police Station, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, Provincial Mobile Force Company and Baliguian Municipal Police Station conducted a joint law enforcement operation at Purok 2, Barangay Sinonok, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur at about 8:00 PM, August 15, 2020.
Gen. Cambay, identified the arrested as Rolando Soren Bayotas, 65 years old, male, married, farmer, and presently residing at Purok 2, Barangay Sinonok, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. He is Top 2 Most Wanted Person of Baliguian Municipal Police Station.
He was arrested by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder, docketed under Criminal Case No. 2569-B, issued by Hon. Simplicio Acojedo Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Siocon-Baliguian-Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte, dated October 4, 1994 with no bail bond recommended.
Bayotas is temporarily detained at Dumingag Municipal Police Station custodial facility and will be transported to Baliguian Municipal Police Station, Zamboanga del Norte.
