Barangays Biasong, Miputak and Sta. Isabel in Dipolog City were conferred today the Safety Seal after passing the assessment carried out by the DILG Inspection Team in Dipolog City.
Based on available records, the three barangays are the first public establishments in the region to be awarded the seal.
The Safety Seal Certification Program was initiated to recognize private and public establishments which complies to the minimum public health standards as prescribed by the IATF policies.
The DOLE-DTI-DILG-DOT-DOH Joint Memorandum Circular 21-01 provides for the creation of the DILG Inspection Teams and LGU Inspection Teams at the local level to assess compliance of private and public establishments and issue the Safety Seal once the establishment shows sufficient proof of compliance.(DILG-9-LGCDD)Â
