During these adverse times, Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation did its best to successfully turned-over four (4) infrastructure projects to Barangay Urbiztondo Claver, Surigao Del Norte on the 26th of January 2021.
These are Health Center and Birthing facility, Alternative Learning System Building, Tanod outpost and Concrete Pavement. Hence, to make these possible 2020 Social Development Management Program (SDMP) allocated PHP 13,000,000.00 for these projects.
The turned-over was attended by the Barangay Officials, indeed a blessing to the community and it was highly appreciated, as the ceremony goes on Urbiztondo, Barangay Captain Hon. Larry G. Escutin said, “Ako mulaong na salamat karajaw sa THPAL na dili ra kun sa kuman naghatag nan tabang sa barangay. Gawas sa infrastructure projects, aduna pay sa Health, Education ug uban pa, ilabi na ang ilang tabang panahon sa pandemiya sa tibuok katawhan. Mapasalamaton isab an ato mga beneficiaries nan ini tungod ila gajud ini magamit pagsakto sanan amo ini ajagan.”
In addition to this, Alternative Learning Teacher (ALS) Ms. Vilma Abad, stated “Salamat gajud karajaw sa iju taghatag na ALS building. Tungod nan ini dili na ako magkalisud maghanap nan room na bakante, na bisan haen rakan tungod wayay kaugalingon na room para sa mga estudyante. Kuman iju na ako tagtagaan nan kaugalingon na building, dako ko gajud na pasalamat sa THPAL.” These statements manifest the community`s appreciation to THPAL endeavor.
THPAL, thru its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) is also providing the communities with the basic health care services, scholarship programs, livelihood projects, senior citizens and PWDs wellness program and more, as part of its continuing commitment and thrust for the betterment and development of the community as a whole.
