Telco firm now ISO-certified

AS proof of its commitment to elevate further the products and services it serves to enable the digital shift of its customers, PT&T Corp. earned its first ISO 9001:2015 certification following the successful establishment of its Quality Management System (QMS) amid the pandemic.

This was issued by BQSR, a globally recognized ISO-certification body with a specialized pool of auditors and technical experts conducting audits of different industries, including telecommunications.

The diversified telco firm underwent an extensive and rigorous company-wide audit, substantiating how its QMS meets pertinent statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as clearance to non-conformances.

“I am proud to say we’re now ISO-certified. This achievement demonstrates our commitment to the customer as we always seek the highest levels of quality in our bid to better serve their needs,” said James Velasquez, president and chief executive officer of PT&T Corp.

According to him, their decision to strive for the accreditation shows their priority to offer world-class solutions stack, measured against a global benchmark of industry excellence.

“This is essential as we help our clients adopt new technologies and achieve operational excellence along with their digital transformation journey. We are now looking forward to receiving another certification for Information Security Management System, ISO 27001:2013 by the end of the year,” he said.
