A public school teacher was arrested in Purok San Francisco, San Jose, Pagadian City during a buy-bust operation conducted by PDEA Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office and the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 (RDEU9) at around 2:15 PM on October 14, 2020.
The arrested suspect was identified as Norberto Cesar Bana Apiag II a.k.a. “Borgy”, a senior high school teacher in Lantian, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
Confiscated during the operation were more or less one (1) gram of suspected shabu worth ₱ 6,800, ₱ 1000 buy bust money, Marlboro empty box served as container of suspected shabu, and a motorcycle.
The suspect will be facing charges in court for violations of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
