Video on the search of a suspect for selling illegal drugs this afternoon through buy-bust (HVI)
Date and Time: May 18, 2020 at about 2:25PM
Where: Purok Perlas (near Sea Wall), Brgy. Taft, Surigao City
Suspect: DAVES MANGUBAT ZERDA a.k.a. Kol-Kol/Cocol, male, 30 years old, with live-in partner, laborer
The arrested suspect was listed in the Directorate for Intelligence Watch-list and a drug Surrenderee on July 6, 2016 of Surigao City Police Station and the same considered being a High Value Individual (HVI).
The arrested person was informed of his Constitutional Rights under the Miranda Doctrine and the Anti-Torture Law upon his arrest.
Confiscated items from the possession and control of suspect were listed as follows;
- One (1) plastic sachet of suspected Shabu bought by the poseur-buyer from the arrested suspect with an estimated weight at more or less 0.05 gram with Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of Five Hundred Ninety Pesos (P 590.00) @ (Php 11,800.00) per gram;
b. One (1) genuine Five Hundred Peso Bill (P 500.00) marked money;
c. Three (3) plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated weight at more or less .15 gram with Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Pesos (P 1,770.00) @ (Php 11,800.00) per gram;
d. One (1) black pouch;
e. Cash money Six Hundred Fifty Pesos (P 650.00);
f. One (1) small brown envelope and;
g. One (1) Voter’s ID.
The body search on the arrested suspect mentioned was done in an orderly manner.
A case for violation of Section 5 and 11 Article II, of RA 9165 was being prepared for filing in court against the mentioned arrested suspect. (pltc clrII | RPN DXKS)
