Beneficiaries of the Social Pension Program for Indigent Senior Citizens (SOCPEN) from San Isidro, Surigao del Norte received their 4th quarter stipends from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office (FO) Caraga.
“Ma’am ‘kodaki’ mi sa ako pares (Ma’am please take a picture of us [partners]),” the young at heart senior citizen couples requested and posed for the camera.
They later expressed their thanks to DSWD FO Caraga for the continued Social Pension assistance that they use for their daily needs.

The Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens Program is government assistance in the amount of Php500.00 monthly stipend to augment the daily subsistence and other medical needs of indigent senior citizens which are given once per quarter of every calendar year.
