A new dental health bus from the Department of Health was officially turned over to the Department of Education Surigao City division last Thursday, July 6, 2023.
Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II personally attended the turnover to see the latest dental bus up close which will provide students access to dental health services.
The turnover was also attended by Surigao City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Marilou Dedumo, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Laila F. Danaque, and representatives from the Department of Education Caraga Region led by Regional Director Dr. Maria Inez Asuncion and Assistant Regional Director Pedro Escobarte Jr.
The new mobile clinic will help promote dental health among students to prevent dental problems and issues.
