Surigao City Joins forces for the World Wetlands Day Celebration last February 2, 2023.
A Coastal clean-up and Mangrove Planting Activity was conducted last Feb. 2 in Sitio Panubigon, Brgy. Lipata. The activity was initiated by City ENRO and participated by DENR-PENRO. A total of 250 mangrove propagules were planted in the area.
World Wetlands Day aims to raise awareness about the role of wetlands for people and the planet.
