Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – Female recruitment facilitator and health officer to recruits New People’s Army member surrendered and returned loyalty to the government last Wednesday, March 9.
PRO13 Director Police Brigadier GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT JR disclosed that Cabadbaran City Police Station (CPS) and Regional Intelligence Unit 13 facilitated the surrender of a 40-year-old female alias Ason. Through its intensified and continuous effort to end local communist armed conflict.
Alias Ason served under Sandatahang Yunit Pampropaganda (SYP), Guerilla Front 19, Northeastern Mindanao Regional Committee (NEMRC).
Conferring to Cabadbaran CPS, alias Ason was an active member in the red fighters for five years and was recruited in November 2015 at the mountainous part of Brgy. Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur to change and reform the system of the government to lift her out of poverty.
Alias Ason renounced his commitment from being a rebel after realizing the deceptions and lies. She was awakened to the sincerity of the government troops to assist them with all their needs.
“PNP Caraga has committed to working toward the abolition of our region’s insurgency problem. Alongside our Chief PNP POLICE GENERAL DIONARDO B CARLOS’ directive to strengthen the fight against insurgency. That’s why we, your Caraga police force, guarantee that the end of communist terrorist groups (CTGs) is near,” RD CARAMAT JR said.
The above personality is now in the process and assessment for enrollment to Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
