To campaign for the new normal way of travelling, the Department of Tourism Caraga staged a travel safe promotional activity dubbed as “Rides Recharge Caraga Year 2: One Route, One Ride, One Region” and Bagakay Mangrove Trail Lagoon & Adventure in Brgy. Bagakay, Claver, Surigao del Norte was chosen as one of the seven (7) trail stops regionwide on Saturday, October 23.
The said activity was participated by private riders, motorcyclists and bikers of the regional line agencies bringing individual campaigns on the global pandemic.
Since, the activity is an endurance ride, LGU Claver headed by Hon. Georgia Gokiangkee assisted and supported the activity through coordination with concerned offices (PNP, BFP, MDRRMO, MHO, BLGU Bagakay, BARUTO) and provided snacks and souvenirs for all the riders, while all adhering to existing health and safety protocols.
