The Department of Tourism (DOT) Caraga Region headed by Regional Director, Ivonnie B. Dumadag attends the 8th International Travel Festival at Ayala Center, Cebu City last March 24-26, 2023.
The booth was also visited by Congressman Francisco Jose “Bingo” F. Matugas II, Representative of the 1st District of the Province of Surigao del Norte with wife, Ms. Ethel L. Matugas to show full support and appreciation for the efforts made by the regional office with the partner local government units and stakeholders towards tourism excellence.
The DOT Caraga booth also promotes Surfing as one of the Adventure and Sports Tourism Product of the region.
Mr. Noah Arkfeld, Mr. Reden Espejon, and Mr. Gabriel Lerog were the surfers invited by Congressman Matugas II in response to the request of RD Dumadag regarding the 8th ITF for year 2023.
The surfers were also able to provide basic surfing lessons to interested tourists, and guests who visited the DOT Caraga booth.
The DOT Caraga booth was open last March 26 until 9 PM.
