Surigao City came alive last Friday, June 30, painted in vibrant rainbow hues! As we ended the celebration of Pride Month, Rainbow Connection The Originals organized a massive, dazzling, and inclusive Pride Parade that captured our hearts.
The parade proudly marched past our City Hall, accompanied by an exciting program that honored LGBTQIA+ members from various municipalities in our province. We were also introduced to the gorgeous candidates for the first Binibining Surogon 2023 pageant.
Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II, Congressman Robert Ace S. Barbers, and our dedicated City Councilors graced the event, displaying unwavering support for our LGBTQIA+ community. Their presence spoke volumes about their commitment to fostering unity and acceptance in our city and province.
