Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II together with Social Workers from the City Social Welfare and Development Office and Department of Social Welfare and Development, personally delivered a cash gift worth P100,000 to centenarian Olympia Grumacon Tabon, last Thursday, April 13, 2023.
Tabon, who will turn 101 years old this June 12, 2023, was delighted to welcome Mayor Dumlao at her humble home.
She shared that at 100, she can still walk around her neighborhood in Purok Kahoy, Brgy. Ipil. And one of her secrets is eating green leafy vegetables.
Mayor Dumlao, during his visit, shared with Tabon’s family that the cash aid is part of the Republic Act 10868 otherwise known as the Centenarians Act of 2016 or An Act Honoring and Granting Additional Benefit and Privileges to Filipino Centenarians and for Other Purposes.
