Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – The suspect in a robbery incident on October 1, 2021, in Barangay Mahay, Butuan City, who is listed as the number four most wanted person in the province of Agusan del Norte, was arrested during a joint manhunt operation in Purok 3, Brgy. 4, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte last Saturday, April 9.
POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT JR, PNP Caraga Director, reported the arrest of Harold J. Guardiana, 21 years old, and a resident of Purok Lawaan, Brgy. Pangabugan, Butuan City during the operation launched by Buenavista Municipal Police Station personnel, Agusan del Norte Provincial Intelligence Team, Regional Intelligence Unit 13, and Agusan del Norte Provincial Intelligence Unit around 8:00 in the evening.
Guardiana is a member of the Wabad Gang.
Said person was arrested based on the strength of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 1, Butuan City, for the crime of robbery with violence against or intimidation of persons docketed under Criminal Case Number 2021-1072 dated April 5, 2022.
“Caraga police will continue to carry out aggressive efforts against wanted criminals and all lawless elements to ensure the peace and order situation in our region,” RD CARAMAT JR said.
The region’s top cop urges the people to support the police in its continuing anti-criminality campaign by immediately reporting to the nearest police station any illegal activities or presence of wanted persons in the locality.
