Police authorities apprehended 5 Most Wanted Individuals and counted a total of 34 Wanted Individuals as part of Intensified Simultaneous Anti Criminality Law Enforcement Operations(SACLEO), last Wednesday, July 06.
Provincial Director(PD) Police Colonel Renato C. Mercado reported that operatives arrested 5 Most Wanted Person(MWP), 20 other wanted persons, 5 for having engaged in Illegal Drugs, 7 in Illegal Fishing, one in Illegal Gambling, and one in Illegal Logging.
In the campaign against Wanted persons, the arrest warrants subsequently led to the arrest of 5 most wanted persons composed of 2 Provincial Level, 3 Municipal Level, and 20 other wanted persons were also arrested.
On Illegal Drugs Operation, operatives confiscated 46.4909 grams of shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of ₱ 346,058 were confiscated.
On illegal Fishing, 19 kilograms of assorted fish amounting to ₱ 5,200 and Illegal Fishing paraphernalia were confiscated.
On illegal gambling, P817 pesos amount of bet money was confiscated from individuals, who were caught in the act engaging in illegal card game activity locally known as (Tong-its).
Meanwhile, on the special laws, one was arrested for Violation of PD 705 (Illegal Logging) with a total volume board feet of two hundred eighty (280ft) sawn lumber with an estimated value of ₱ 7,350.OO was confiscated.
“I commend our troops for their enormous efforts that led to the successful conduct of simultaneous operations that resulted in the arrest of these individuals. Rest assured that we will continue to intensify our campaign against all forms of criminality that navigates toward lasting peace for the Province. ” PD Mercado said.
