The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office XIII together with the personnel of Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands PDEA Office, SDNPPO-PDEU and Socorro Municipal Police Station conducted buy bust operation this 5:10 early morning of August 3 in Purok 4, Brgy. Don Albino Taruc, Socorro, Surigao del Norte.
Three suspects were arrested and identified as Mark Jhon Yamson Dotillos, Nixon Alabat Savandal and Dahima Santos Savandal.
Confiscated evidences include one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 1 gram which was the subject of sale, five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 50 grams in their possession, Samsung keypad phone, one genuine one-thousand-peso bill marked money and 9 pieces one-thousand-peso boodle money, eight hundred pesos in different denomination.
Violation of Section 5, 11 and 26 of Article II of RA 9165 will be filed to against the three arrested suspects.
