A suicide incident transpired at St.,Brgy. Poblacion Dos, Bansalan, Davao del Sur at about 12 o’clock in the afternoon, March 8, 2020.
According to police report, the victim was identified as Rosa Lumen Dumael, female, 64 years old, widow and a resident of the said place.
Further, as stated by Jhunel C Dumael, male, 14 years old, a grade 8 student, victim’s grandson and a resident of same place went to the house of his grandmother (victim) to get his clothes, and when he called up the victim’s attention, it rendered no response and when he opened the door he saw the victim lifeless in semi – hanging position with victim’s both knees kneeled down besides the Television’s stall using an ID chord.
The victim’s body was already removed in its original position prior to the arrival of investigating team thus, the victim’s immediate family and relatives were convinced that the victim took her own life due to depression and affirmed that there is no manifestation of foul play during the investigation conducted.
The victim’s cadaver now lies at Brillantes Funeral Homes, Poblacion Uno, Bansalan, Davao del Sur.
