Spicy Oragon target solo lead in Pilipinas Super League Dumper Cup

BICOL seeks a second straight win for the early solo lead when it clashes with home team Batang Kankaloo-Caloocan in the Pilipinas Super League Pro Division Second Conference Dumper Cup Monday at the Caloocan Sports Complex.

Game time is 8 p.m. with the Spicy Oragon on a high following their 73-72 squeaker over Nueva Ecija last Thursday.

The Koolers absorbed an 87-95 loss to Manila also last Thursday in the tournaent presented by Dumper party list, Winzer and Converge and supported by Wcube Solutions Inc., MDC, Unisol, Don Benitos, and Finn Cotton, with Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and Gilas Pilipinas great Marc Pingris serving as commissioner.

Koponang Lakan ng Bulacan debuts against the Slashers in the first game at 6 p.m.

Alwin Alday, Lester Reyes and Mario Bonleon are expected to carry the fight anew for Bicol, while Batang Kankaloo-Caloocan will pin its hopes on former PBA big man Gabby Espinas, Dahrell Caranguian and Paul Sanga as it tries to crash the winner’s circle.

Nueva Ecija, which will be led by Jeric Nacpil and Edzel Mag-Isa, with former PBA players Leo Najorda and Jason Ballesteros and RJ Ramirez heading Koponang Lakan ng Bulacan’s charge.
