Shooting incident transpired at Purok Mangga, Brgy. Guituan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province at 5:30 AM of November 1, 2020. The victim was a 13-year old female named “Honey Love”, a resident of abovementioned place.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was sleeping inside their house together with her parents when suddenly a gun burst was heard and upon verification of her mother the victim already sustained gunshot wound on her head.
She was immediately brought to Ipil Provincial Hospital for medication and later referred to Zamboanga City Hospital for further medication. According to her mother she did not saw any person in the area that may possibly suspect of the shooting incident.
Recovered at the crime scene were three (3) pellets from shotgun ammunition. Elements of Ipil Municipal Police Station are now conducting thorough investigation for the identity and arrest of suspect and to determine the motive of the incident. (PCpt. Edwin A.
