A 33-year old man was gunned down by an unidentified perpetrator at Purok 3, Sitio Calanasan, Brgy. Quiniput, Zamboanga City at 11:30 PM of October 14, 2020. Police Captain Martin M Baclayo, Station Commander of Zamboanga City Police Station 2 (Curuan) identified the victim as Blary Boy Villanueva Aquilino, 33, male, married and a resident of Purok 3, Sitio Calanasan, Brgy. Quiniput, Zamboanga City.
The victim sustained gunshot wound on his jaw and on his upper right chest which causes his untimely death. Recovered from the crime scene were three empty shells of suspected Caliber 45 and 2 slugs.
Right after the incident, the unidentified suspect fled heading towards unknown direction.
The Zamboanga City Police Station 2 (Curuan) is now conducting follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
