Shooting incident transpired at Purok 11, Brgy. Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City at 11:15 AM of October 31, 2020. The victim was identified as Jurjiri Jawjan Ahadain, 32 years old, male, married, of Flamingo Village, Brgy. Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City. He was shot by the suspect identified as Albert Suan Tan, 50 years old, and a resident of Acasia Drive, Brgy. Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City using a Caliber .38 revolver.
Initial investigation disclosed that the said suspect has a personal grudge to the victim which led the suspect in the commission of his crime. The victim sustained gunshot wound on his stomach and was immediately brought to Zamboanga City Medical Center for immediate medical attention while suspect fled towards City proper direction.
A hot pursuit operation is being conducted by personnel from Zamboanga City Police Station 8 for the possible arrest of the suspect. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
