Shooting incident transpired at Brgy. Conception, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 5:00 AM of August 30, 2020. The victim was identified as Alfredo Ripo, 40 years old, married, and a resident of aforementioned place, who was shot by unidentified person. PNP personnel of San Miguel Municipal Police Station (MPS) proceeded to the said place.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim went to his farm and upon reaching at said place, suddenly unidentified person shot him using unknown caliber of firearm hitting at the right portion of his face that resulted of his instantaneous death. The suspect/s fled the scene after the incident.
PNP personnel of San Miguel MPS still conducting follow up investigation for possible identification and arrest of the fleeing suspect/s.
