Robbery incident occurred at the office of the Principal at Poblacion Elementary, Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay.
According to the report of Mrs. Yvonn Tumamut, 58 years old, married, School head teacher of Poblacion Elementary School disclosed that at about 4:00 AM of December 16, 2020, the office of the Principal of Titay Central Elementary School located at Poblacion Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay was robbed by unidentified suspects. Upon arrival thereat, the main gate was forcibly opened and its padlock was destroyed.
During inspection, the following items were discovered missing to wit; One Unit Laptop Coby brand color blue-government issued worth ₱ 67,000.00; One (1) unit Samsung cellular phone ₱ 15, 000.00; One (1) unit cellphone keypad ₱ 1, 000.00; One (1) unit Globe Modem ₱ 1,500.00 and Three thousand pesos (₱ 3,000.00) cash.
During the follow-up operation and investigation, the suspects was located and arrested at Mariano Boardinghouse in Park Acasia, Poblacion Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay with the helped of brgy. tanod and civilian informants.
The suspects were identified as Niño Rizalde Ausan, 25 years old, and Arjie Pitao Remollo, 27 years old, both single, both gay, both jobless and both a resident of Titay Municipality.
Recovered from their possession were One (1) Unit Coby brand color blue- government issued and one-unit cherry mobile phone color red.
The arrested suspects were now under the temporary custody of Titay Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
