DEPUTY House Speaker Eric Martinez expounds on the latest bill he filed in Congress pertaining to Philippine sports in the online session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum on Tuesday.
Martinez, who represents the Second District of Valenzuela City, will talk about the establishment of the Philippine Olympian Memorial, which honors, commemorates and immortalizes Filipino Olympians.
The bill comes after the country’s most successful campaign ever in the Olympics which saw the Philippines win a total of four medals, including a first-ever gold courtesy of weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, in Tokyo last month.
The public sports program presented by San Miguel Corp., Milo, Braska Restaurant and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. starts, at 10 a.m.
