Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – Seventy Seven strong breed Patrolman and Police Corporal successfully completed the three months rigid Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) this morning, held at Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) Grandstand.
In the closing program, special awards were given to the police trainees who excel during their training by the Guest of Honor and speaker Lieutenant General Ramiro Manuel Abad Rey, AFP Commander, Northern Luzon Command.
Three Patrolman were awarded with Medalya for being at the top of their class. Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to Patrolman Antonio Cupido Jr for standing Top 1 in their BISOC Class. While Medalya ng Papuri was bestowed to Patrolman Moises Stephen Marquez for Top 2 followed by the Top 3, Patrolman Kennedy Longchaya.
Patrolman Marquez also received an award for being the Strong Man in their class while Patrolman Cupido received an award being the Top Gun.
The BISOC Class “PINAGSANIB” has undergone the training at Philex Mines, Ampocao, Itogon, Benguet for 3-months and satisfactorily completed the training requirements according to the Program of Instruction of BISOC, AGOS and Water Search and Rescue Training Course.
The training had equipped the rookie cops with knowledge, attitude, skills, and values in the conduct of internal security operations.
The BISOC graduates will serve as additional manpower of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) and to the different field units of Maneuver Force Company to serve as the maneuver forces of PRO-Cordillera, covering the provinces of Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Mt. Province and Kalinga.
The program ended with the ceremonial pinning of BISOC to the graduates led by the regional director and other senior officers.
