Three CTGs Surrendered in Leon Postigo

Three (3) PSR listed Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) members under Regional Urban Committee (RUC) of the Western Mindanao Regional Party Committee (WMRPC) surrendered to Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office – Intel Branch, Regional Intelligence Unit 9, Regional Intelligence Division 9, Leon B Postigo Municipal Police Station and Barangay officials of Barangay Sta. Maria of the said municipality at 7:30 AM of February 3, 2021. Surrenderers were received at the Barangay hall of Sta. Maria, Leon B Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte. They were identified as Joel Tao Dua, Jemar Tao, Delmark Asuroy Tao, and Perlyn Andus Tao.  The said personalities are all members of the Alyansa Ng Mag-Uuma Sa Zamboanga Del Norte (ALMAZAN) under left-leaning organization of Kilusang Mangbubukid Ng Pilipinas (KMP) and currently PSR listed under CAMOS, RUC, WMRPC.

 

Suicide Incident

Suicide incident occurred at Sitio San Jose, Brgy. Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan Zamboanga Del Norte at 8:10 AM of February 3, 2021. The victim was identified as Romana Camatura Langcamon, 63 years old, female, widow, and a resident of Sitio San Jose, Brgy. Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan Zamboanga Del Norte. She was discovered hanging five (5) meters from the back of her house, her neck was tied with a small nylon string and the other end of the nylon string was tied on a tree branch. Post-mortem examination conducted by Dr. Rienier Alonzo revealed that no foul play took place; cause of death was Asphyxia Secondary to hanging with neck ligature. The cadaver is now in the custody of her family for proper disposition.

 

Landslide Incident

A Landslide Incident transpired at Purok 5, Sitio Sapa Butong, Barangay Sigapod, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:00 PM of February 2, 2021. The victims were identified as Diosdado Macala Dolores, 48 years old; Helen Dumulon Lonsagon, 50 years old; Wilmark Dumulon Lonsagon, 12 years old; and Ebenecer Dumulon Lonsagon, 10 years old, all victims are residents of Sapa Butong Barangay Sigapod, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur. Accordingly, while the victims were about to go to sleep, suddenly they heard a crumbling noise, they felt the house moved downhill and they were thrown outside caused by the landslide that took palce. Fortunately, they were able to hold on to a bamboo stem and waited for help. Around 9:00 PM of the same date, rescuers Luis Tania and Samero Macala Dolores arrived and rescued them immediately.

 

Mother and Son, Arrested in Josefina for the Crime of Arson

Police personnel of Josefina Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation at Purok 1, Barangay Nopulan, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur at 11:20 AM of February 3, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Elineta Pelayo Jalandoni, 54 years old and Rap Rap Pelayo Jalandoni, 21 years old, both are residents of Purok 1, Barangay Nopulan, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur. They were arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Arson under Section 3 of Presidential Decree No. 1613 docketed under Criminal Case # 2020-10-4161 and 2020-10-4162 dated December 11, 2020 issued by Hon. Analyn F Ramos-Costanilla, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave Zamboanga Del Sur with recommended bail bond of P48,000.00 for each accused. They are now temporarily detained at Josefina Municipal Police Station custodial facility.

 

Fire Incident

Police personnel from Mahayag Municipal Police Station responded to a fire incident that transpired at Pedro Vargas Residence, Purok 5, Poblacion Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur at 4:55 AM of February 3, 2021. The PNP personnel immediately informed the Molave Fire Station. Initial investigation disclosed that at around 11:00 PM to 12:00 midnight of the same date, Prince John Vargas and his wife noticed something that smelled like burning wood and accordingly, did not find any burning wood or fire left unattended at the kitchen at the back of their house. At 4:55 AM of February 3, 2021, when Prince John went to the comfort room, he noticed that the fire has already glazed the fireplace and in the comfort room, upon arrival of responding police personnel at the place of incident, the fire has already gone out of control and consumed most of the premise since the upper part of it is made out of wood and light materials and further escalated to the houses of Pedro Vargas Jr., Victor Vargas, Jeffrey Artiaga, Praise Je Enterprises And Daikens Merchandise. At 5:20 AM of same date, firefighters from the said fire station arrived at the area and immediately started to put the fire off. The cause of fire is still to be determined while the estimated cost of damages was more or less P2,700,000.00. No person was injured.

 

Shooting Incident

Police personnel from Labangan Municipal Police Station responded to a shooting incident that transpired at Barangay Tawagan Norte, Labangan Zamboanga Del Sur at 1:10 PM of February 3, 2021. The victim was identified as Darwin Lacerna Adamos, 33 years old, male, married, and a worker at Penro. He was shot to death by two unidentified male suspect by the use of Caliber .45 pistol. The suspects fled heading towards Labangan proper onboard a single motorcycle as their getaway vehicle. Responding Investigator recovered at the crime scene eight fired cartridge cases and one slug of caliber .45 pistol as pieces of evidence and are now at the custody of Provincial Crime Laboratory Zamboanga Del Sur, while the cadaver was turned over to his family and subsequently brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Pagadian City. Motive of the incident is still to be determined.

The victim was identified as Darwin Lacerna Adamos, 33 years old, Male, casual employee of Penro, and a resident of the said area. He was shot to death by two unidentified motorcycle riding suspects by the use of Caliber .45 firearm. Suspects fled heading Labangan proper onboard on their getaway single motorcycle. The recovered pieces of evidence are now in custody of Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory while the cadaver was turned over to his family and was subsequently brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Pagadian City.

 

Top 2 Most Wanted Person of Josefina Municipal Police Station, Arrested

Police personnel of Josefina Municipal Police Station together with personnel of Clarin Municipal Police Station, Misamis Occidental conducted joint law enforcement operation thru service of Warrant of Arrest at Purok 3, Barangay Penacio, Clarin, Misamis Occidental At 5:30 PM of February 3, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Rodulfo Cuarto Madula, Jr., 42 years old, married, elementary graduate, farmer, a resident of Purok Gemelina, Upper Bag-Ong Tudela, Josefina, Zamboanga Del Sur by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case #2020-10-4126 dated October 02, 2020 issued by Hon. Joel G. Vercide, acting Presiding Judge, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail bond. Recovered from the possession of the suspect are one Caliber .357 Revolver, Smith and Wesson with deface serial number, with four pieces of live ammunitions of caliber .357, one piece of live ammunition of caliber .38 and one piece holster. He is now temporarily detained at Clarin Municipal Police Station custodial facility and to be transferred to Josefina Municipal Police Station. A case for violation of Republic Act no. 10591 is being prepared by Clarin Municipal Police Station against the suspect.

 

Top 1 Drug Personality of Recodo, Arrested

Police Personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 9 conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Purok-6A, Barangay Recodo, Zamboanga City at about 6:00 PM of February 3, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Alaziz Daris Y Taha, 21 years old, male, single, jobless, elementary graduate, and resident of the same area. Recovered from his possession were one (1) red/black coin pouch,  twenty one (21) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of P6,800.00 weighing 1 gram, and two (2) bills of P100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation for filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office.

 

P242,000.00 worth of Shabu yield from 6 Drug Suspects in Zamboanga City

Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Baliwasan, Zamboanga City at about 9:00 PM of February 3, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Junyor Siraji Y Abdullah, 38 years old, male, separated, college graduate, unemployed and a resident of Lower Calarian, Zamboanga City And Youzepkhan Arola Y Ahmad, 33 years old, male, separated, high school undergraduate, and a resident of Mariki, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were thirteen (13) sachets of suspected Shabu with estimated value of 70,000.00 weighing 10.29 grams and five (5) bills of P100.00 registered marked money. Confiscated items were brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination while suspects are presently under the custody of the said police station for proper disposition.

Police personnel of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 team conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok-3, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City At About 8:00 PM of February 3, 2021 that resulted to the arrest of Franceline Gaviola Cielo, 45 years old, male, married, and a resident of aforementioned place. Confiscated during the operation were eight (8) sachets of suspected Shabu weighing more or less 11 grams with market value of P74,800.00 and P500.00 as marked money. He is now under the temporary custody of the Zamboanga City Police Office for proper disposition.

The operation resulted to the arrest of Junyor Abdullah Siraji, 38 years old, male, separated, college graduate, unemployed and a resident of Lower Calarian, Zamboanga City, and Youzepkhan Ahmad Arola, 33 years old, male, separated, high school undergraduate and a resident of Brgy. Mariki, Zamboanga City. Confiscated during the operation were thirteen (13) sachets of suspected Shabu weighing 10.29 grams with estimated market value of P69,972.00 and P500.00 as marked money. They are now under the temporary custody of the said police station for proper disposition.

Zamboanga City Police Station 6 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Bato-bato, Brgy. Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City at 1:10 AM of February 3, 2021. The operation resulted to the arrest of Hamid Paksa Alkain, 35 years old, male, married, jobless, high school undergraduate; and Misuari Amilhamja Sarahan, 33 years old, male, married, jobless, elementary undergraduate, both residents of Brgy. Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City. Confiscated during the operation were 11 sachets of suspected shabu with estimated ddb value of php27, 200.00 weighing more or less 4 grams and two pieces of php100.00 bills as marked money. The said items were brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for laboratory examination. Suspects are now under the temporary custody of the said police station for proper disposition.

 

Security Guard Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Pagadian

Police personnel of Pagadian City Police Station together with Midsalip Municipal Police Station conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Mahayahay, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City at 1:15 AM of February 3, 2021, The operation resulted to the arrest of Wilmer Feliciano Arias, 36 years old, male, single, security guard, and a resident of the said area. Confiscated during the operation were 18 sachets of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.90 grams and market value of P6,120.00 and P300.00 as marked money. He is now under the temporary custody of the said police station for proper disposition.
