Traffic Accident in Dipolog City

A vehicular traffic incident transpired at National Highway Galas, Dipolog City at 8:25 PM of September 26, 2021 involving a Dump Truck registered under the name of Dipolog LGU driven by Serafin Galvez Bendiola, 48 years old, married and a resident of Tabuk Tulay, Minaog, Dipolog City and a Rusi Motorcycle driven by Erish Recentes Ulila, 39 years old, single and a resident of Galas, Dipolog City, with two passengers identified as Danica Corpuz Patrosenio, 26 years old, live in partner of the driver and a 6 year old minor. Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the dump truck was traveling towards Public market Dipolog City to collect garbage and upon reaching at the Sea Oil Gas Station, he accidentally bumped the Motorcycle who was traveling ahead of the dump truck which caused the driver and the passengers of the motorcycle to stumble down the road. All victims were brought to Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center for treatment, both vehicles are now under the custody of Dipolog City Police Station for proper disposition.

Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Ipil

PNP personnel of Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS) together personnel of PIU, ZSBPPO, 2nd PMFC, ZSBPPO and HPG Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Climaco, Brgy Upper Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 6:55 PM of September 26, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Monching Abison Fernandez a.k.a. “Monching”, male, 32 years old, married, high school graduate, jobless and a resident of Purok Mauswagon, Brgy Bacalan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay and confiscation of one (1) sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated total weight of 0.822 grams and standard drug price of ₱ 5,589.60, one (1) unit keypad Nokia cellphone, two (2) pieces ₱ 1,000.00 bill (buddle money) and one (1) piece ₱ 200.00 bill marked money. Arrested person and confiscated items were brought to Ipil MPS.
