Top 4 Most Wanted Person of Concepcion Municipal Police Station, Arrested in La Libertad
PNP personnel of La Libertad Municipal Police Station together with intel operatives of Concepcion Municipal Police Station (MPS) and personnel of 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted joint intel driven operation in P-5, Barangay Sta. Cruz, La Libertad, Zamboanga del Norte at 12:25 p.m. of May 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Glen Gomez Ponce, 42 years old, single, fisherman, and a resident of Barangay Mabunaw, Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Attempted Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 1460 with no bail recommended issued by Presiding Judge Michael Lotao Ajoc, Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 36, Calamba, Misamis Occidental, dated April 14, 2021. He was brought to Concepcion MPS, Misamis Occidental for proper disposition.
Top 9 Most Wanted Person of Malangas, Arrested
PNP personnel of 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company (lead unit) together with intel operatives of Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office- Intel Branch, Malangas Municipal Police Station (MPS), Payao Municipal Police Station, Kabasalan Municipal Police Station, 903rd Maneuver Company-RMFB9 and Ipil Highway Patrol Unit conducted joint law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Sitio Limuno, Barangay Timuay Danda, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 1:20 p.m. of May 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Limoden Odja, 33 years old, married, fishpond dikes maintenance and a resident of Barangay Timuay Danda, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Carnapping, docketed under Criminal Case No. IM-13-0646, dated May 4, 2020, issued by Hon. Jeric S Kagaoan, Presiding Judge, 9th Judicial Region, RTC, Branch 31, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay with bail recommended amounting to ₱ 300,000.00. He is now under the custody of Malangas MPS for temporary detention.
Hacking Incident
A hacking incident transpired at Purok Kaumahan-A, Barangay Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur at about 1:00 a.m. of May 31, 2021. Victim was identified as Agapito Abenes Delizo, male, 49 years old, married, an employee at Kumalarang Water District and resident of Purok Riverside, Barangay Poblacion, Kumalarang, Zamboanga del Sur while suspect was identified as Jayson Fernandez, male, married, 40 years old, farmer, and a resident of the same place. Initial investigation disclosed that at around 10:00 p.m. of May 30, 2021, the victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree while playing at the Billiard Hall when a heated argument ensued. This prompted the suspect to hack the victim. Victim was found dead with multiple hack wounds in different parts of his body. Before the arrest, the suspect tried to resist and pulled his bolo wrapped in his waist and intentionally about to hack the arresting officers but fortunately, he was neutralized before inflicting injuries to others. The suspect sustained one gunshot wound on his right thigh and recovered the bolo from his possession. Further, suspect was brought to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City for immediate medical attention.
Rape Suspect Arrested in Maasin
PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 9 (Lead Unit) together with 2nd Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Sitio Caragasan, Barangay Maasin, Zamboanga City at 1:30 p.m. of May 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jose Esperat y Mahusay, 40 years old, fisherman and a resident of Sitio Malandi, Barangay Patalon, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrests for three (3) counts of R.A. 8353 (Anti-Rape Law) with Criminal Case Nos. 47962-47964 with no recommended bail bond, Sexual Assault with Criminal Case No. 47965 and with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 200, 000.00 and R.A. 7610 (Child Abuse) with criminal case no. 47966 with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 180, 000.00 issued by Presiding Judge Hon Peter V Eisma, Branch 15, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Zamboanga City dated May 28, 2021. Further, he is presently under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 9 prior turn over to court concerned.
