PNP personnel of Lakewood Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Lapuyan Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok-1, Barangay Mahalinged, Lapuyan, Zamboanga Del Sur at 3:20 p.m. of May 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Lito Baganday Tapuc, aka “Lito Tapok”, 63 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of Purok-1, Barangay Mahalinged, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 9086-2K8 dated December 24, 2003, issued by Hon. Romeo T. Descallar, Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 19, Pagadian City with no bail. He is now under the custody of Lakewood MPS for booking procedure and for proper disposition.

Joint PNP personnel of Sominot Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Labangan Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Sitio Bola-Bola, Barangay Cogonan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:00 a.m. of May 9, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Emilito Sumalpong Tumog, 34 years old, married, farmer, resident of Sitio Bola-Bola, Barangay Cogonan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for Multiple Murder and frustrated Murder, docketed under Criminal Case No. 16-10, 1338, issued by Hon Judge Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, 9th RTC, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur dated August 22, 2016 with no bail. He is now under the custody of Sominot MPS for booking procedure and for proper disposition.
Men Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Canelar
Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Macrohon drive, Barangay Canelar, Zamboanga City at about 4:00 p.m. of May 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Joemar Jacaria y Franciso, 36 years old, male, married, driver, College graduate, and Aivan Lim y Fernandez, 37 years old, male, single, computer technician, college undergraduate, and a resident of Quintos drive, Barangay Divisoria, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were four (4) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of 17,000.00 pesos weighing 2.5 grams, one (1) coin purse, one (1) unit grey Montero Sport and one (1) bill of 500.00 pesos registered marked money. Subjects are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Rancho Subdivision, Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City at 5:10 p.m. of May 8, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jonathan Panung y Andas, 43 years old, male married, college level and Sitti Rahma Abubakar y Mohammad, 44 years old, female, high school level, both jobless and residents of Rancho Subdivision, Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were eight (8) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of 10,200.00 pesos weighing 1.5 grams and two (2) bills of 100.00 pesos registered marked money. Subjects are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Dumpsite, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at 5:50 p.m. of May 8, 2021 that resulted in the arrest of Jhordz Bangonsahi Y Jainal, 18 years old, male, married, laborer, elementary level, and a resident of Asinan Phase 1, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were Six (6) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of 6,800.00 pesos weighing 1 gram and two (2) bills of 100.00 pesos registered marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Recovered during the operation were nine (9) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of 20,000.00 pesos weighing 2.94 grams and one (1) bill of 500.00 pesos registered as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Roger Atilano y Quilong-Quilong, 23 years old, single, high school level, jobless, and a resident of Barangay Tumaga, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were three (3) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of 2,500.00 pesos weighing 0.36 grams and two (2) bills of 100.00 pesos registered marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court.
