₱ 2,081,000.00 worth of Shabu seized in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by police stations under Zamboanga City Police Office on May 1, 2021
Sattar Alam y Jamil, 50 years old, male, married, fisherman, elementary level, Alshimar Sahali y Jamil, 25 years old, male, married, fisherman, elementary school level and Makin Bahara y Jamil, 48 years old, male, married, fisherman were arrested by personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Barangay Manicahan, Zamboanga City at 11:10 a.m. of May 1, 2021. Recovered during the operation were four (4) packs heat sealed transparent plastic of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1, 400, 000.00 weighing more or less 205.8 grams and Five (5) pcs of ₱ 200.00 bills as marked money with Sixty-nine (69) pieces of ₱ 1000.00 as boodle money. They are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Glenn Abu y Tamse a.k.a “Glenn”, 50 years old, male, married, jobless, college graduate, and Shaidin Saidula y Lumigas, 33 years old, male, married, college level, both are residents of Manga Drive, Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City were arrested by PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 3 together with Zamboanga City Police Office Intelligence Unit in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Purok 6, Barangay Talon-talon, Zamboanga City at 2:50 p.m. of May 1, 2021. Recovered during the operation were one (1) empty sachet of Payless Pancit Canton Xtra Big containing white crystalline substance of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 680, 000.00 weighing more or less 100 grams, two (2) pieces Payless Xtra Big Pancit Canton, one (1) paper bag, one (1) Non-professional driver’s license, one (1) TIN ID, one (1) black/white coin purse and one (1) piece of ₱ 1000.00 bills as marked money with one hundred eighty (180) pieces as boodle money. They are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Elmer Cañete y Esperancilla, 35 years old, male, single, jobless, high school graduate was arrested by PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Martha Dr., Barangay Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City at 8:15 p.m. of May 1, 2021. Recovered during the operation were two (2) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1, 000.00 weighing more or less 0.14 grams and two (2) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bills as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Top 5 Most Wanted Person of Dipolog City, Arrested in Cebu
PNP personnel of Dipolog City Police Station, together with the personnel of Talisay Municipal Police Station Cebu City conducted joint manhunt operation at Sitio Kalachuchi, Barangay Cansojong, City of Talisay, Cebu 2:00 p.m. of May 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Wilfredo Jumao-as Moreno Jr., 36 years old, male, single, Filipino and resident of Sitio Kalachuchi, Barangay Cansojong, City of Talisay, Cebu for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case No. 21684 issued by Presiding Judge Rogelio D. Laquihon of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City, dated November 20, 2017 with no bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty. He is now temporarily under the custody of Talisay Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Zamboanga Del Norte together with police personnel of Dipolog City Police Station and Zamboanga del Norte 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted law enforcement operation through service of search warrant at Barangay Cogon, Dipolog City Zamboanga del Norte 8:00 a.m. of May 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Nilo Piniton Mirafuentes 44 years old, male, Filipino and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Cogon, Zamboanga del Norte. Confiscated during the operation were one (1) unit cal. 45 Taurus bearing serial no. NRG 33996 inserted with; one (1) Unit Magazine Assembly for Cal. 45 pistol loaded with; seven (7)pcs live ammunition for cal. 45; two (2) pcs of magazine assembly for cal.45; ten (10) pcs live ammunition of Cal. 45; one (1) upper receiver of M16 riffle without serial number; one (1) M16 rifle butt; one (1) Unit M1 Garand Riffle with serial number 3268763; four (4) boxes of cal. 5.56 live ammunition containing 20 pcs each; twelve (12) boxes of Cal. 5.56 live ammunition containing 30 pcs each; one (1) unit of homemade shotgun without serial number; three (3) boxes of Cal. 5.56 live ammunition containing 30 pcs.; three (3) boxes of WCC cal.5.56 live ammunitions containing 30 pcs. each; nine (9) pcs. of 30 rounds M16 magazine, with four (4) of them loaded with twenty five(25) live ammunition each and five (5) empty; thirteen (13) short magazines for 5.56 M16 riffle loaded with approximately eighteen (18) live ammunition each; three (3) short magazines for 5.56 M16 riffle unloaded; two(2) links of green tip 5.56 live ammunition containing 200 rounds each; seven (7) pcs. of RD 40mm HE DP – M9115A1; three (3) pcs. ammo boxes with label (Government Arsenal DND); three (3) clips of ammunition for M1 Garand riffle containing eight (8) live ammunitions each. The search was made by virtue of Search Warrant No. 002-2021 issued by Hon. Jose Rene G. Dondoyano, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Dipolog City dated April 30, 2021. The arrested person and confiscated items were brought to Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Zamboanga Del Norte for appropriate filing of complaint for violation of RA 10591 and subsequently detained to Dipolog City Police Station for temporary custody.
Barangay Kagawad Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Polanco
PNP personnel of Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with the PDEA9 together with Polanco Municipal Police Station conducted drug buy-bust Operation at Purok Tandang Sora, Poblacion South, Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte at 7:40PM of May 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of one Gerry Montallana Tiol, 55 years old, married, Barangay Kagawad, and a resident of Purok Tandang Sora, Poblacion South, Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte. Confiscated during the operation were of one (1) piece small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu (buy bust item), one (1) piece five hundred (500) peso bill as marked money, three (3) pieces total of one hundred forty-peso bills in different denomination (proceeds money) and one (1) piece empty transparent sachet served as container of said items. All confiscated drug items estimated weight of 3 grams with estimated street value of twenty thousand four hundred pesos (₱ 20,400.00). He was brought to Polanco Municipal Police Station for documentation and thereafter referred to Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center for medical/physical examination and afterwards brought to PNP Crime Laboratory for drug testing together with the drug evidence for chemical examination and weighing while the non-drug items were under the custody of Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit. He is now temporarily detained at Polanco Municipal Police Station.
