Police personnel of Sindangan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with 903rd and 904th Maneuver Company conducted manhunt operation at Recodo, Zamboanga City at 12:30 a.m. of April 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Wildon Rudas Ansal, 23 years old, single, factory worker and resident of Mamawan, Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape with Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. S-5772 issued by Presiding Judge Reymar L. Lacaya of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte dated July 2, 2018 without Bail bond recommended. He was brought to Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
Top 8 Most Wanted Person of Sibutad, Arrested
PNP personnel of Sibutad Municipal Police Station in coordination with Dauis Municipal Police Station conducted intel driven monitoring against most wanted person in Barangay Totolan, Dauis, Bohol at about 9:00 a.m. of April 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of John Paul Longcuyana Monding, 38 years old, single, construction worker, temporarily residing at construction site of Purok 6, Barangay Songculan, Dauis, Bohol and a native of Sipaloc, Sibutad, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Victoriano DL. Lacaya Jr., Presiding Judge, Branch 9 of RTC 9, Dipolog City dated October 15, 2012 with Criminal Case No.17891 for Murder without bail bond recommended. He is now temporarily under the custody of Dauis Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Sibuco Municipal Police Station together with Dumalinao Municipal Police Station and personnel from 905th Maneuver Company conducted joint intensified intel driven manhunt operation at Purok-6, Sitio Lantawan, Barangay Tangarak, Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte at about 8:30 a.m. of April 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Anecito Bedran Chavez, 28 years old, single, farmer and a resident of the said place. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case No.13351-2k17 issued by Hon. Benjamin Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City dated August 31, 2017 without bail recommended.
Top 9 Most Wanted Person of Tungawan, Arrested
 Joint elements of Tungawan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with 903rd Maneuver Company; 902nd Maneuver Company, Naga Simaporo Municipal Police Station, Lanao del Norte and Tukuran Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Baoyan Sultan, Naga Dimaporo, Lanao Del Norte at about 8:30 a.m. of April 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Artemia Martir, 54 years old, female, widow, housekeeper and a resident of Barangay Elsamsi, Poblacion, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Qualified Theft, docketed under Criminal Case No. i-7130, issued by Hon. Vicente S. De La Plaza II, Presiding Judge, Branch 36, 9th Judicial Region, Zamboanga Sibugay with bail recommended amounting to ₱ 40,000.00. She is now under the custody of Tungawan MPS for temporary detention.
Shooting Incident
A shooting incident transpired at a remote coastal area of Sitio Padang-padang, Barangay Gusom, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur at 2:50 p.m. of April 30, 2021. Victim was identified as Santos Labiana Tanio, 52 years old, male, married, fisherman, resident of Purok 3, Barangay Picanan, Kumalarang, Zamboanga Del Sur. Investigation disclosed that at about 11:50 a.m. of April 30, 2021, victim together with his family were having an outing at the said place. Suddenly four (4) unidentified male suspects appeared and one of them pulled from his waist a pistol and subsequently shot the victim four (4) times prompting him to jump into the sea water but the other suspects run after him and beat him with a piece of wood until the victim’s body sunk in the water and disappeared. The suspects fled on foot towards Barangay Gusom after the incident. Personnel of Kumalarang Municipal Police Station conducted search operation to locate the living or dead body of the victim and follow up operation against the fleeing suspects. Recovered at the crime scene were six (6) fired cartridge cases of caliber .45.
Drug Suspect Arrested in Pagadian City
PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station (CPS) conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok Pagang, Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City at about 4:00 p.m. of April 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of the Leonardo Tamparong Decosto, male, 26 years old, married, farmer driver, resident of Purok Pinya, Barangay Tubo Pait, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of Sections 5 & 11, Article II of R.A. 9165 docketed under Criminal Case Nos.155005-2k21 and 15506-2k21 issued on April 26, 2021 by Hon. Romeo T. Descallar, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 19, Pagadian City with no bail for violation of section 5 while for violation of section 11 bail is fixed at two hundred thousand pesos (₱ 200,000.00). He was brought to Pagadian CPS for mug shot and booking procedures and subsequently referred to Pagadian City Health Center for physical/medical examination and turned-over to the duty jailer for proper disposition.
Men Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Camino Nuevo
PNP elements of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Mayor Vitaliano Agan Road, Nuñez Ext., Camino Nuevo, Zamboanga City at 11:30 a.m. of April 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Al Asaral y Mapili, 40 years old, male, Married, high school level, and a resident of Calle Punta, Barangay Camino Nuevo, Zamboanga City and Marlon Banglos y Jimenez and a resident of the same place. Confiscated during the operation were: one (1) sachet of suspected Shabu, five (5) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu (possession) with an estimated weight of 1 grams and street value of ₱ 6,800.00, one (1) coin purse color black used as container, one (1) piece of one-thousand-peso bill Philippine currency as marked money.
Boxes of Smuggled Cigarettes Recovered in Mariki
PNP personnel of 2nd Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company conducted seaborne patrol in relation to the conduct of Major ISO on Seaborne Operation at shoreline of Barangay Mariki, Zamboanga City at 9:45 a.m. of April 30, 2021. During the Seaborne Patrol and Boat Interdiction, they spotted a green motorized wooden watercraft “Jungkong”, and upon approaching for inspection the said jungkong sped-up towards the mangrove area of Barangay Mariki. The troops, with the use of the High-Speed Tactical Watercraft (HSTW) slowly went by the said forested mangrove area where in the said jungkong found to have already left and abandoned 22 boxes of smuggled assorted cigarettes at the shoreline of Barangay Mariki. Said recovered items are presently under the custody of said unit and will be turned over to the Bureau of Customs for proper disposition.
