Police operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Rizal Provincial Field Unit (PFU), 404th Maneuver Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion 4A, Binangonan Municipal Police Station in coordination with Pagadian City Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok Lacturan, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City at 7:20 PM of March 26, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of John-John Ojas Landiao, 38 years old, male, married, he was residing at Purok Lacturan, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City with permanent address at Sitio Scrapyard, Barangay Pag Asa, Binangonan, Rizal. He was arrested for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 13833-2K18 dated May 16, 2018 issued by Honorable Felix B. Rodriguez, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 18, Pagadian City with NO BAIL. He was subsequently brought to CIDG Rizal PFU office for documentation and proper disposition.

PNP personnel of Salug Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Danao, Salug, Zamboanga del Norte at 11:15 AM of March 26, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Elvin Manosa Callao aka Nonoy Callao, 52 years old, male, married, farmer by occupation and a resident of Barangay Danao, Salug, Zamboanga del Norte. He was arrested for the crime of Serious Physical Injuries docketed under Criminal Case No. 3821 issued by Presiding Judge Rowena S. Carpitanos-Magallanes of Salug-Godod MCTC, Salug, Zamboanga del Norte dated January 5, 2021 with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 30,000.00. He was brought to Liloy District Hospital for Medical Examination and subsequently brought to Salug MPS for proper disposition.
Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Baliwasan
Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted a buy-bust operation on illegal drugs at Baliwasan Central School, Barangay Baliwasan, Zamboanga City at 7:25 PM of March 26, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Bukari Abeqibel Y Husin A.K.A “Biboy”, 18 years old, male, married, elementary graduate, unemployed, resident of Baliwasan Seaside, Barangay Baliwasan, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were five (5) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 3,000.00 weighing 0.44 gram and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Homicide Suspect Arrested in San Roque
Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at Pasay, Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City at 7:45 PM of March 26, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Medie Angeles Orosca, 32 years old, male, single, resident of Pasay, Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for Homicide under Criminal Case No. 27544 issued by Hon. Gregorio Vallencia Dela Peña III, Presiding Judge, RTC Br 12, Zamboanga City dated March 24, 2021. He is presently under the custody of the said station prior to turn-over to court concerned.
Drowning Incident
A drowning incident transpired at Sirena Beach located at Purok Dalahikan, Barangay Militar, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur at 2:30 PM of March 26, 2021. The victim was identified as Jose Manolong, 66 years old, male, married, and a resident of Barangay Manlabay, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was under the influence of liquor and tried to swim with his companions but he drowned. Victim was rushed to Tukuran Rural Health Unit for immediate medical attention but declared dead on arrival by Dr. Charity Navarro Vega, the attending physician.
Rape Suspect Arrested in Dipolog City
Police personnel of Dipolog City Police Station (CPS) together with Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Field Unit conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 442, Laylay Street, Estaka, Dipolog City at about 3:00PM of March 26, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Serg Anthony Dapar Bermudo, Filipino, single, male, 27 years old, College Graduate, jobless, and a resident of Purok 442 Laylay Street, Estaka, Dipolog City for the crime of Rape docketed under criminal case number 24673 issued by Judge Cherry Joy Carloto Concha Ageas, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 10, Dipolog City, dated March 16, 2021, without bail bond recommended. He is now under the custody of Dipolog CPS for proper disposition
Rape Suspect Arrested in Rizal
Intel Operative of Rizal Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted intel driven manhunt operation at Barangay North Mapang, Rizal, Zamboanga Del Norte at 8:30 PM of March 26, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Lourdan Malayan Magallon, 20 years old, single, male and resident of the said place. He was arrested for Violation of RPC ART 266-A-Rape (3 counts), docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 24687, 24688 & 24689 issued by Acting presiding Judge Jose Rene G. Dondoyano of RTC9, Branch 7, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte dated March 19, 2021, without bail bond recommended. The arrested person is now under the custody of Rizal MPS for proper disposition.
