Top 4 Most Wanted Person of Zamboanga City Police Station 9, Arrested

Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 9 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Sitio Cuatro Ohos, Mangkawilan, Barangay Vitali , Zamboanga City at 4:40 PM of March 11, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Rodrigo De Jesus y Dela Cruz, 48 years old, male, farmer, and a resident of  the said area. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder with Criminal Case No. 21670 issued by Presiding Judge Danilo M. Bucoy, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 17, Zamboanga City with No bail bond recommended.  He is presently under the custody of the said station prior to turn over to court concerned.

Top 6 Drug Personality of Zamboanga City Police Station 8, Arrested

Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 8 conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Caragasan, Barangay Maasin, Zamboanga City at 5:55 PM of March 11, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Abibakrim Flores Apalad, 24 years old, male, married, high school graduate, gravedigger, resident of Zone 5, Caragasan, Barangay Maasin, Zamboanga City Recovered from his possession were four (4) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱5,500.00 weighing 0.81 gram and one (1) bill of ₱500.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation for filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office 9 for examination.

Top 8 Drug Personality of Zamboanga City Police Station 4, Arrested

Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 conducted a drug buy-bust operation at Zone 6, Mulumuluan, Barangay Mercedes, Zamboanga City at about 1:00 PM of March 11, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Nelson Liozo y Jailani, 41 years old, male, divorced, high school undergraduate, unemployed, a resident of Zone 6, Mulumuluan, Barangay Mercedes, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were one (1) coin purse, nine (9) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱8,000.00 weighing 1.18 gram, one (1) empty transparent plastic sachet, one (1) plastic straw and two (2) bills of ₱100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Man Dead in a Mauling Incident in Putik

A Mauling Incident transpired at Marcos Dr., Barangay Putik, Zamboanga City at about 1:00 AM of March 11, 2021 wherein victim was identified as Jonas Bello y Gutierrez, 35 years old, male, a resident of Gutierrez Compound, Barangay Putik, Zamboanga City at 4:50AM of March 11, 2021. Investigation revealed that prior to the incident, the victim had a heated argument with a male person regarding a lost wallet along Morning Glory, Barangay Putik, Zamboanga City. Thereafter, the victim was then seen at the place of incident lying on the ground with visible injuries and immediately brought to West Metro Medical Center for treatment but declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Further, personnel from Zamboanga City Police Station 5 are still conducting thorough investigation to determine the motive and the identity and arrest of suspect/suspects.

Hacking Incident

A hacking incident transpired at Purok Balete, Barangay Gaycon Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 11:50 PM of March 11, 2021. The victim was identified as  Julito Lasay, 43 years old, male, single, farmer and Francisco Bayoles, 55 years old, male, farmer, the suspect was identified as Jomar Haron Lasay, 21 years old, single, farmer all are residents of Purok Bangkal, Timbabauan, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay. Investigation revealed that prior to the incident, they were having a drinking spree, later, a heated argument ensued that prompted the suspect to hack the victims using a sickle. Francisco sustained lacerated wound on his back while trying to mediate the two. Thereafter, Francisco reported the incident to the barangay captain of the said area, which led to the arrest of the suspect, the victims were brought to municipal health center for treatment, but Julito Lasay was later transferred to Ipil Provincial Hospital for further  medication. the suspect is now at the custody of Tungawan Municipal Police Station for documentation and for filing appropriate charges against him. The weapon used has not been recovered.

Man dead in an Alleged Hit and Run

A vehicular accident transpired at National Highway, Barangay Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 11:50 PM of March 11, 2021 wherein victim Artemio Atay Catian, 70 years old, male, married, a resident of Purok Lanuza, Barangay Upper Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay was found lying on the concrete road, bloody and had sustained injuries on the different parts of his body. Accordingly, the victim was allegedly hit by unidentified vehicle. Said victim was immediately brought to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Hospital for treatment but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Driver Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Dipolog City

Police operatives of Dipolog City Police Station conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Galas, Dipolog City At 7:20 PM of March 10, 2021. The operation led to the arrest of Antonino Refugio Bacana Jr., 49 years old, male, single, high school graduate, motor cab driver and a resident of Barangay Sta. Filomina, Dipolog City. Confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect were four (4) pieces small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (Shabu);  one (1) piece Five Hundred peso (₱ 500.00) bill bearing serial number CS661865 as buy bust money; one (1) piece black pouch served as container of Shabu, one (1) piece Green disposable lighter, one (1) piece driver’s license under the name of Antonino Refugio Bacaña Jr. one (1) unit green Oppo cellular phone, one (1) black sling bag. Also declared in the presence of the witnesses and arrested suspect is one (1) piece small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (shabu) bought by the poseur buyer from the arrested suspect as buy-bust evidence. Estimated weight of confiscated illegal drugs of 3.0 grams and estimated street value amounting to ten thousand pesos (₱ 20,400.00). The suspect was brought to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) for drug testing together with the pieces of drug evidence for chemical examination and weighing at the said office while the non-drug evidence were safely kept at Dipolog City Police Station for court exhibit. Arrested suspect was brought to the hospital for medical examination and now under the custody of said police station pending filing of formal complaint. Cases for violation of R.A. 9165 are being prepared for filing in court against the suspect.

Murder Suspect Arrested in Zamboanga City

Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Room 230 of Zamboanga Doctors’ Hospital at 8:55 AM of March 11, 2021. Ben Juan Guevarra Natividad, male, legal age, resident of Barangay Mercedes, Zamboanga City was arrested virtue of warrant of arrest for Frustrated Murder with Criminal Case No. 46870 issued by Presiding Judge, Hon. Shene C Cañete, RTC Branch 35, 9th Judicial Region, Zamboanga City dated March 9, 2021 with recommended bail bond of ₱ 200, 000.00. Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 secured the accused while recuperating from the injuries he sustained from a vehicular accident and prior to turn over to court concerned.
