Top 2 Most Wanted Person of Sominot, Arrested

Police personnel of Sominot Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 3, Barangay Bag-ong Baroy, Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur At about 5:00 AM of March 5, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jay R Montero a.k.a. “Jemar”, 22 years old, farmer, single, and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Picturan, Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of Arrest Warrant for the Crime of Murder (2 counts), docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 20-10-, 1753 and 20-10-, 1754 dated August 3, 2020 issued by Hon. Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9TH Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur with no bail bond. Subject person is now temporarily detained at Sominot MPS custodial facility while waiting for commitment order from the court.

Fire Incident

A fire incident transpired in a residential area at Talungon, Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City at 6:00 AM of March 4, 2021. Seven (7) residential houses were razed to the ground. Fire was believed to have started from the house of a certain Trinidad Amancio, 49 years old, male, married involving six (6) other houses which were made of semi-concrete and light materials. Responding BFP personnel were able to put out fire at about 6:35 AM of same date. Cause of fire was allegedly from an unattended cooking and estimated cost of damage is ₱ 350,000. No casualty was reported in the said incident.

Stabbing Incident

A stabbing incident place at Asinan, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at about 2:00 PM of March 4, 2021 wherein victim identified as Erning Dalagan Y Abubakar, 24 years old, male, a resident of Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City while subject identified as Said Alawadi, legal age, male and a resident of the same Barangay. Investigation disclosed that the duo were having a conversation when the victim bullied the suspect and said suspect got irritated, pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim hitting on his back. Victim was rushed to Zamboanga City Medical Center by his relatives for medical treatment. Subject fled on foot towards the main road of Barangay Kasanyangan to escape.

Vehicular Accident

A vehicular accident transpired along MCLL highway, Barangay Curuan, Zamboanga City at about 2:00 PM of March 4, 2021 involving black Skygo motorcycle with plate number due for registration driven by Francis Villanueva, 27 years old, male, married and one (1) unit mini dump truck Elf bearing Plate No. MAC 1367 driven by Noel Francisco y Espinosa, 36 years old, male, married of Barangay Bunguiao, Zamboanga City with professional license number J13-20-019658. Investigation disclosed prior to the incident that the single motorcycle and the elf were travelling on same direction going to Barangay Buenavista, Zamboanga City. However, upon reaching the place of incident, driver of the single motorcycle tried to overtake another vehicle but wasn’t able to do so, then he slowly adjusted his speed level wherein the mini dump truck was tailing him from behind. As a result, driver of the truck failed to stop and accidentally bumped onto the said motorcycle. Victim sustained injuries on his body and was immediately brought to Cristino Paragas Memorial Hospital for treatment and later on transferred to Zamboanga City Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Both vehicles and driver of truck were brought to Zamboanga City Police Station 2 for proper disposition.

₱300,000.00 Worth of Shabu Seized in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in San Roque

Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City at 8:20 PM of March 4, 2021 that resulted in the arrest of Arjay Macrohon Y Concepcion, 33 years old, male, married, business owner, high school undergraduate, and Angeline Macrohon Y Galvez, 35 years old, female, married, housewife, high school undergraduate, all are residents of Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City. Confiscated from their possessions were eighteen (18) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 300,000.00 weighing 44.11 grams, one (1) unit Cal .45 Llama Max-I with serial no# 07-04-18762-97, One (1) magazine with Four (4) live ammunition, one (1) coin purse and two (2) pieces of ₱ 500.00 bill as marked money. They are now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

₱170,000.00 Worth of Shabu Seized in Ipil

2nd provincial Mobile Force Company together with Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted drug buy-bust operation at 1:40 PM of March 4, 2021 at Purok Gemelina, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. The operation resulted in the arrest of Dawakin Basaluddin Ashmad, married, fishpond operator, 65 years old, Elementary graduate; Jahara Alip Ashmad, (Top 8 provincial level High Value Individual), 23 years old, female, grade 9, unemployed, single; Jemar Sariol Bual, 29 years old, male, single, unemployed, high school level, unemployed; Basser Abualas Ontong, 31 years old, married, elementary undergraduate, fishpond operator, a resident of; Alhadsre Sariol Ampong,  23 years old, male, single, tricycle driver, grade 12 graduate; Jassim Sariol Bual 21 years old, single, unemployed; Jem Basaluddin Ashmad, 56 years old, married, elementary undergraduate, fish pond operator and one minor, all are residents of the said place. Confiscated during the operation were: eleven (11) pieces plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 25 grams and value of ₱ 170,000.00, two (2) units cal .38 revolver with eleven (11) pieces live ammunitions, one (1) unit Berreta 25 .cal with serial number be81369204 with eight (8) live ammunitions, one (1) improvised water pipe, one (1) foil strip, two (2) aluminum improvised tooter, two (2) pieces heat sealed plastic sachets containing crack fluorescent bulb, one (1) disposable lighter with improvised aluminum needle and one (1) piece ₱ 500.00 bill (marked money) with serial number BM 212954 and three (3) sling bags. Arrested persons and confiscated items are now under the custody of Ipil MPS for proper disposition.

Shooting Incident

A shooting incident transpired at Barangay road of Purok Uno, Barangay Lower Panikian, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation disclosed that victim identified as Roque Magbian Salondayao, 46 years old, male, filipino, married, self-employed, and a resident of Barangay Lacnapan, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay was onboard single MC Honda XRM 125 along with other back rider traversing from Barangay road of Lower Panikian, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur going to Barangay Punta Flecha, Pitogo Municipality of same province. Upon reaching at Barangay road of Purok Uno, Barangay Lower Panikian, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur was allegedly shot by unidentified suspect/s hitting his head resulted to his instantaneous death. The suspect/s fled immediately going to Barangay Flecha, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur, while responding PNP personnel of Pitogo Municipal Police Station still conducting thorough investigation and follow up operation to possibly identify, locate and arrest the fleeing suspect/s. Accordingly, certain Maria Tambiling, legal age and a resident of Purok Uno, Barangay Lower Panikian, Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur allegedly heard the gunshots with more or less 200 meters away from the crime scene.

Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Tabina

Police personnel of Tabina Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted illegal drug buy-bust operation at Purok Hilltop, Barangay Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur at 9:50 PM of March 4, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Meljune Rebucas Ermentano, 26 years old, male, single, self-employed, and a resident of Purok Hilltop, Barangay Poblacion, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur. Confiscated from the operation were one piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu. One piece ₱ 500.00 bearing serial number BH308412 as buy bust money; one piece ₱ 20.00 bearing serial number NF374830 ; and one lighter. The estimated weight of seized drug is .3 grams with standard drug price of ₱ 2,040.00. He is now temporarily detained at Tabina MPS custodial facility while appropriate charge for violation of RA 9165 is now being prepared for filing in court.

Firearms and Explosives Seized from a Farmer in Sirawai

Police personnel of Sirawai Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with 905th Coy, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 conducted law enforcement operation through implementation at about 10:30 PM of March 4, 2021 at Barangay Panabutan, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte. The search was made by virtue of Search Warrant No. 2021-06-S for Violation of RA 10591 issued by Hon. Anthony B. Galleposo-Presiding Judgeof MCTC Siocon-Baliguian-Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte dated February 24, 2021. The operation led to the arrest of Abdulmahdi Pawa Wahab aka Ernesto Kandatin, 62 years old, married, farmer, MILF member and resident of Barangay Panabutan, Sirawai Zamboanga del Norte. Recovered items from his possession are the following; One (1) Hand grenade, One (1) Cal.45 colt pistol, One (1) magazine .45 cal. seven (7) live ammo cal. .45. He is now under the custody of Sirawai MPS for proper disposition of the case.
