₱680,000.00 Worth of Shabu Nabbed from an Alleged Notorious Drug Dealer in Zamboanga City
PNP personnel of Special Operations Unit 9, PNP Drug Enforcement Group (lead unit), Special Operations Unit-15 BARMM, Regional Intelligence Unit 9, Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit 9, Highway Patrol Unit 9, Zamboanga City Police Station 3, Zamboanga City Police Station 10 and Zamboanga City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit conducted joint drug buy-bust operation at Purok 1, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City at 10:50 AM of July 5, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Hasbi Jamhali y Ettot, 44 years old, male, married, fisherman and a resident of Barangay Taluksangay, Zamboanga City. Confiscated during operation were two (2) large sachets of suspected Shabu weighing 100 grams with estimated value amounting to ₱ 680,000.00 thousand pesos, one (1) folded bundle of boodle money containing one (1) piece registered genuine of ₱1,000.00 bill placed at the top-most of photocopied one-thousand-peso bill bundle as supposed payment, one (1) unit Samsung android cellular phone. The arrested suspect is a notorious drug peddler at province of Sibugay, Zamboanga City, Isabela City including Basilan province and under the watchlist of Zamboanga City Police Station 4.
₱135,997.00 Worth of Shabu Seized in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Ipil
Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS), Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (lead unit), together with Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office – Intel Branch; Anti-Kidnapping Group 9; Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit; and 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Orchids, Barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 1:30 PM of July 5, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Arnold Gaspar Ferrer, a.k.a. “Dodong”, male, 62 years old, married, elementary level, driver, and a resident of Purok Campo Muslim, Barangay Bacalan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Recovered from his possession were eight (8) transparent heat-sealed sachets of suspected Shabu, with estimated weigh of 18.3 grams and with estimated value of ₱ 135,997.00, one (1) unit black Cherry Mobile bar phone, and one (1) piece of ₱ 500.00 bill (marked money). Arrested person and confiscated items were brought to Ipil MPS for proper disposition. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.
Shooting Incident
A shooting incident transpired at Sitio Logdeck, Lintangan, Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte at about 11:00 PM of July 4, 2021 wherein victim was identified as Danilo Argentes Bendanillo, 49 years old, male, married, farmer, Grade-1, and a resident of Purok 11, Lintangan, Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte while suspect was identified as Gerry delos Santos del Rosario 37 years old, male, married, SCAA, high school level and a resident of Barangay Tangarak, Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte. Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was under the influence of liquor when a heated argument with his daughter, Aderose Bendanillo, ensued, this prompted the victim to inflict injuries on his daughter. Adersore Bendanillo ran towards SCAA Detachment based at Sitio Logdeck, Lintangan, Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte to report the incident. Immediately, SCAA responded and arrived at the house of the victim at about 8:00 PM of the same date and he was asked to surrender but the victim grabbed a bolo and attacked the suspect that prompted him to shoot the victim that resulted to his instantaneous death. Victim sustained 2 gunshot wounds at his left chest and left upper arm. Further, that about 5:30 AM of July 5, 2021, the suspect was turned-over by the detachment commander of Logdeck SCAA Detachment in the person of Sgt. Judi Buland Aldiola under 42nd IB PA Alpha Company to the responding team together his issued firearm Colt M16 Cal. 5.56. Furthermore, suspect and his issued firearm is now under custody of Sibuco Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Two Men Dead in a Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident in Diplahan
A vehicular incident at Purok Quirino, Barangay Poblacion, Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 12:10 PM of July 6, 2021 that transpired involving a black Skygo 150, driven by unidentified person together with his backrider who is also unidentified, and a green close van, 8-wheeler truck, driven by Wenecres Padillo Tamondong, 30 years old, married, a resident of Zone 5, Barangay Sinaloc, El Salvador City. Investigation disclosed that both vehicles were travelling from opposite direction and had a head on collision on a blind curve area. As a result, the driver of the motorcycle together with his backrider sustained fatal injuries and was rushed to Wilter Palma Medical Hospital for immediate medical attention but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician while Wenecres Padillo Tamondong voluntarily surrendered to Imelda Municipal Police Station. The motorcycle and the truck were brought to Diplahan Municipal Police Station for proper custody.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Sangali
Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City at about 7:00 PM of July 5, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Nasser Saipuddin y Unos a.k.a., “Nasser”, 47 years old, married, elementary level, jobless, and a resident of Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were six (6) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 4,500.00 weighing 0.66 grams and two (2) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered sachets of suspected shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Men Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Cawit
Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Barangay Cawit, Zamboanga City at about 10:00 PM of July 5, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Ronald Salinas y Intan, 43 years old, male, single, driver, college level, and Aldrin Surbito y Camumut, 24 years old, male, single, steal man, college level, both are residents of Barangay Tulungatung, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were ten (10) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 20, 400.00 weighing 3 grams, one (1) coin purse and three (3) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered sachets of suspected shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
