    Tattoo Artist Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Ipil

    Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS) (lead unit) together with Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Intelligence Unit and 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted drug buy-bust operation at Niro’s Pension House, Purok Orchids, Brgy Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 8:09 PM of July 3, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Daryl Guia Soque, aka “Jef-Jef”, male, 31 years old, single, high school level, tattoo artist and a resident of Purok Tubigan, Barangay Veterans Village, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Recovered and confiscated from his possession were one (1) piece of small heat-sealed sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.075 grams (buy-bust item) and one (1) piece of small heat-sealed sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.883 grams (possession), all with estimated weight of 0.958 grams with value of ₱ 6,514.00, one (1) black Samsung cellphone, one (1) unit black/orange Yamaha Mio 125 and one (1) piece of ₱ 500.00 bill (marked money). Arrested person and confiscated items were brought to Ipil MPS for proper disposition. A case for violation of RA 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.

    Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in San Roque

    Police Operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Pasay, Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City at 7:45 PM of July 3, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of John Glenn Lito y Rusiana a.k.a. “Glenn”, 34 years old, male, single, jobless, college level, and a resident of Southcom Village, Barangay Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were six (6) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 4,760.00 weighing 0.7 grams and two (2) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered sachets of suspected shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
