Police operatives of 2nd Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company (lead unit), Zamboanga City Police Station 1, Zamboanga City Police Station 10, Tungawan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Sibuco Municipal Police Station and 9th Regional Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit 9 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Pangian, Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte at about 7:00PM of July 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Bakrin Sakinal y Ijirain, 46 years old, male, married, member of Labaen gun-for-hire group, a native of Barangay Tigpalay, Zamboanga Sibugay and presently residing at Barangay Pangian, Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of “Murder” with no bail bond recommended, three (3) counts of “Frustrated Murder” with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 200, 000.00 and eight (8) counts of “Attempted Murder” with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 120, 000.00 criminal case nos. I-6356 to I-6367 issued by Presiding Judge Hon Antonio Isaw, Branch 24, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Zamboanga Sibugay dated February 6, 2017. He is presently under the custody of 2nd Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company prior turn-over to Tungawan MPS for proper disposition.

Police operatives of 904th Maneuver Company-RMFB9 (lead unit) together with Zamboanga City Police Station 2 conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Latuan, Curuan District, Zamboanga City at 1:20 PM of July 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Osmundo Rivero y Rojas, 43 years old, male, married, former member of Phil. Army and a resident of Presa Mayor, Barangay Tumaga, Zamboanga City by virtue of warrant of arrest for three (3) counts of “Rape” with criminal case nos. 32367-32369 issued by Presiding Judge Hon Peter V Eisma, Branch 15, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Zamboanga City dated March 22, 2016 with no bail bond recommended and by virtue of warrant of arrest for two (2) counts of “Frustrated Murder” with criminal case nos. 33266 and 33267 issued by Presiding Judge Hon Vera T Vergara, Branch 14, RTC9, 9th Judicial Region, Zamboanga City dated August 24, 2016 with no bail bond recommended. Further, said accused is presently under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 2 prior turn-over to court concerned.

PNP personnel of Liloy Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with 2nd Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company, 901st Maneuver Company-Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 and Iligan City Police Station 4 conducted Joint intel driven operation at Barangay Tubod, Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte at 9:15AM of July 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Alandoni Gemperoso Rodrigo, 20 years old, male, single, and resident of Barangay Masulon, Ganassi, Lanao Del Sur, formerly residing at Barangay Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. He was arrested for Violation of R.A. 6539 as amended by R.A. 10883 docketed under criminal case no. L-003823 issued by Hon. Anthony D. Isaw, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 28, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte dated November 15, 2019 with bail recommended fixed to ₱ 120,000. He is now under the custody of Liloy MPS for documentation and will be turned-over to the issuing court.
Member of Gingging Calon Drug Group Arrested in Ipil
Joint elements of Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (lead unit) together with personnel of Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok Gemelina, Barangay Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 2:30 PM of July 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Al-Jamie Cabiara Sakilan a.k.a. “bay”, 18 years old, male, single, laborer, high school level, a member of Gingging Calon Drug Group and a resident of Purok Saging, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Recovered from his possession were; one (1) small heat sealed transparent sachet (buy-bust item) and one (1) small heat sealed transparent sachet (possession) all are containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu with a total estimated weight of 1.96 grams and estimated value of ₱ 13, 328.00, one (1) piece two hundred peso bill and three (3) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill (marked money), ₱ 400.00 in different denomination and six (6) pieces of ₱ 1,000.00 boodle money, one (1) unit cell phone Samsung Duos, one (1) unit black/white Motorstar. Arrested person and confiscated items were brought to Ipil MPS for proper disposition. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.
Detainee Escaped in Zamboanga del Norte Correctional and Rehabilitation Center
Ronnie V. Montesa, 33 years old, single resident of San Pedro, Polanco Zamboanga del Norte detained for violation of sec 10(a) of R.A. 7610 escaped Zamboanga del Norte Correctional and Rehabilitation Center located in Barangay Don Jose Aguirre, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte at about 4:00 AM of July 1, 2021. Allegedly, the detainee destroyed the ceiling of his detention cell and climbed off the fence at the back of the Jail Facility. Personnel of Manukan Municipal Police Station together with personnel Zamboanga del Norte Correctional Rehabilitation Center is now conducting hot pursuit operation for re arrest of the detainee.
CTG Member Surrendered in Dumingag
A member of Revolutionary Organization of Lumads under Communist Armed Movements (CAMOs) of Salabok Nok G’Taw Subanen an IP/Lumad Sector and currently PSR Listed under Region Urban Committee (RUC) WMRPC voluntarily surrendered to Zamboanga del Sur Intelligence Unit 9 (lead unit) together with Dumingag Municipal Police Station; 1st Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company; 902nd Maneuver Company; 53rd Infantry Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, Philippine Army; and Municipal Task Force ELCAC of Dumingag at 10:30 AM of July 1, 2021. Surrenderee subsequently signed an Oath of Allegiance in the presence of Municipal Mayor Joan P. Abejuela -Solemnizing Officer. This effort is another result of relentless Intelligence campaign against CTG through sincere dialogue and negotiations made at the foremost Milisya ng Bayan areas in line with E.O. 70, End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC). Surrenderee was released in good physical condition and was turned over to the Barangay Officials of Barangay Saad, Dumingag Zamboanga del Sur for further community reintegration.
Shooting Incident
A shooting incident transpired at Purok Bagong Silang, Barangay Veterans Village, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 12:10 PM of July 1, 2021. Victim was identified as Jaquilo Morales Soque, 35 years old, widow, resident of Purok Bagong Silang, Barangay Veterans Village, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay while suspects were 2 unidentified male persons. Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was inside her house when two (2) unidentified male suspects, suddenly entered the house then shot the victim several times hitting on the different parts of her body and immediately, after the incident, the suspects immediately fled the area. Victim was rushed to De Villa Hospital however she was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician due to seven (7) gunshot wounds, further, recovered at the crime scene were three (3) fired cartridge from caliber 9mm and four (4) caliber 45 fired cartridge cases and three (3) fired bullets/slugs. PNP personnel of Zamboanga Sibugay Crime Laboratory Office conducted crime scene processing while elements of Ipil Municipal Police Station are now conducting thorough investigation to identify and arrest the suspects.
Shooting Incident
A shooting incident transpired at Purok 7, Bagong Oroquieta, Guipos, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:00 PM of July 1, 2021. Victim was identified as Jore Diyapana Antone, 21 years old, farmer, resident of Purok 7, Barangay Bagong Oroquieta, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur while suspect was identified as George Dicahan Antone, 43 years old, farmer, resident of Purok 7, Barangay Bagong Oroquieta, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim was drunk and had an altercation with his cousin, Bakang Dictahan. The victim took a hunting knife and tried to stab Bakang but was pacified by his father. The victim directed his anger towards his father and attacked him with the hunting knife that prompted the suspect to take his firearm inside his corn kiln (BO-OS) and shot the victim twice. Victim sustained two (2) gunshot wounds on his left chest and on his back. He was already transported to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center for treatment. Suspect was arrested by responding PNP personnel of Guipos Municipal Police Station and was subsequently brought to the said police station for proper disposition.
Firearms and Shabu Seized in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Limpapa
PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Purok 5, Barangay Labuan, Zamboanga City at 7:15 PM of July 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Baser Salih y Manjadi a.k.a. “Pinat”, 30 years old, male, married, fisherman, elementary level, and a resident of Barangay Limpapa, Zamboanga City and Samira Nasa y Mohommad a.k.a. “Sam”, 27 years old, female, single, laborer, elementary level, and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Labuan, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were six (6) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of ₱ 10, 200.00 weighing 1.5 grams, two (2) pieces coin purse, one (1) unit pistol cal. 45 and with six (6) live ammunitions and one (1) piece of ₱ 200.00 bill as marked money. They are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered sachets of suspected shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 3 conducted anti-illegal drugs operation at Sitio Malasugat, Barangay Sangali, Zamboanga City at 4:25 PM of July 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Norma Juanito y Salvador a.k.a. “Norma”, 41 years old, female, single, jobless, elementary level, and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Cabaluay, Zamboanga City. Recovered during the operation were five (5) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1,156.00 weighing 0.17 grams, one (1) pink coin purse and two (2) pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered sachets of suspected Shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Aljay Absari y Sabdani, 35 years old, male, married, elementary level, jobless and Buddy Dugasan y Gustuwala, 27 years old, male, separated, elementary level, jobless, both are residents of Phase 1, Barangay Kasanyangan Zamboanga City. Recovered from their possession were five (5) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 3,400.00 weighing 0.5 gram and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. They are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Aldam Sabdula Askali a.k.a. “Dam”, male, single, 37 years old, laborer, high school level and resident of Purok 3 Seaside, Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City and Kennedy Amsain Jikiri a.k.a. “Ken”, male, single, 29 years old, construction worker, College level, and resident of Purok 3 Seaside, Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City. Recovered from their possession were five (5) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1,600.00 weighing 0.23 gram and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. They are now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
