Campaign Against Loose Firearms thru Implementation of Search Warrant in relation to SIFPO
Be informed that at about 9:30 AM of February 9, 2021, a joint operation conducted by PNP personnel of Zamboanga del Norte Crime Investigation and Detection Group led PMAJ. RYAN MARASIGAN HERNANDEZ-Provincial Chief CIDG, Rizal Municipal Police Station (MPS) personnel led by PLT. SHARFINA BANGJASA na ABDULA and Personnel from ZNPMFC led by PLTCOL RODERICK DOMINGO VALDEZ at Purok Maming, Brgy. Nangca, Municipality of Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte successfully served the search warrant NO. 02-05-21 issued by Hon. Judge RIC S BASTASA of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 8, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte dated February 5, 2021 for violation of R.A.10591 against Reynaldo Romero Escudero, 54 years old, male, and a resident of Purok Maming, Brgy. Nanggca, Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the confiscation of the following items:
One (1) Unit cal. 9mm without serial number;
One (1) Unit Magazine Assembly for Cal. 9mm pistol loaded with; and
Three (3) pcs. live ammunition of cal. 9mm
The arrested person and confiscated items were brought to Rizal MPS for proper documentation and disposition.
Arrest of Other Wanted Person
Be informed that at about 2:30 PM of February 9, 2021, PNP personnel of Sergio Osmena Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PMAJ. CLARK GOLE BACOLOD – ACOP and six (6) others conducted service of warrant at Purok Jupiter, Brgy. Venus, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the successful arrest one Reynante Lumpayao Laurie, 39 years old, single, habal-habal driver and a resident of the above-mentioned address for the Crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case number 24229 issued by Hon. Jose Rene Gallemit Dondoyano, Presiding Judge of RTC9, Branch 6, Dipolog City dated February 1, 2021 without bailbond recommended. Arrested suspect is now under the custody of Sergio Osmena MPS for proper disposition.
Arrest of Other Wanted Person
Be informed that at about 3:20 PM February 9, 2021, PNP personnel of Liloy Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PMAJ. ROLDAN C MOLATE, COP, together with intelligence Operatives of PS10, ZCPO led by PLT SAHID A JAYYARI conducted joint intel driven operation at Sitio Parpangco, Brgy Patalon, Zamboanga City that resulted to the arrest of Danilo Lañohan Malicay, 52 years old, married, watchman and a resident of Brgy Patalon, Zamboanga City for the crime of Theft docketed under Criminal Case Number 2118 issued by Judge Alejandro T. Canda of MCTC Branch 28, 7th MCTC, Liloy-Tampilisan, 9th Judicial Region, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte dated September 4, 2002 with bail bond recommended amounting to ₱ 4, 200.00. Said accused is now in-route to Liloy MPS together with the arresting PNP Officers on board with mark vehicle.
Report on Loose Firearms (Kontra Boga)
Be informed that at about at about 4:20PM of February 9, 2021, one Junie Allarcos Montina, 51 years old, male, married a resident and former Barangay Chairman of Barangay Alegria, Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte appeared to Baliguian MPS and voluntarily surrender one (1) improvised shotgun without serial number. Said firearm was deposited at the supply room of this office for safekeeping.
Arrest of Person for Violation of R.A. 7942 Theft of Minerals
Be informed that at about 5:00 PM of February 9, 2021, one Bernie Fulio Pesales, 41 years old, married, security supervisor of TVIRD company, situated at Sitio Canatuan, Tabayo Siocon Zamboanga del Norte personally appeared and turned over to Siocon Municipal Police Station (MPS) the living body of Loreto Lubac Antic, 61 years old, male, married, resident of Sitio Paduan, Candiz, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte who was allegedly caught on the act conducting illegal mining activities inside the area of TVIRD company by the security forces of said company while conducting patrol on their concession area. Confiscated from the possession of the suspect were 1 pc. iron bar, 1 pc. shovel, 1 pc. billing pan and 1 pc. flasher. Subject person be charged for violation of R.A. 7942 is being readied thru inquest, Said suspect is now under the custody of Siocon MPS for proper disposition.
Vehicular Traffic Accident
Be informed that at around 8:55 PM of February 9, 2021 by Raymund Sagang, 41, married and Ambulance driver of Siayan Diagnostic Center report to Siayan Municipal Police Station (MPS) that Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired along the National Highway of Poblacion, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte, wherein the (Veh-1) Honda XRM 125 motorcycle, color red/white background, bearing plate no. 6770JN, carrying expired OR, and driven by ROBERTO ATUY y SIASICO, 54 years old, male, married, a resident of Moñuz, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte, and a holder of driver’s license no. JO1-96-020177 and (Vehicle 2) Honda wave 110 motorcycle, color red/black, with plate no. 6532JG, with CR/OR that was owned by Claudio S. Rodriguez resident from Turno, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte and driven by JOMAR EBOL y CORPUZ, 26 years old, male, single, a resident of Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte without Driver’s License. Personnel of said station immediately proceeded to the place of accident and upon arrival of the said team; both drivers were already brought to Sindangan General Hospital for immediate medical treatment. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that based on the testimony of the witnesses disclosed that the accident happened more or less 6:20 PM of same date, a the V1 (Honda XRM 125 MC) was travelling from Poblacion of said municipality heading toward Brgy. Moñuz (East), while V2 (Honda wave 110 MC) was also travelling in opposite direction and upon reaching at the place of accident, the V1 forcibly entered to the lane under construction without knowing that the V2 is approaching and almost past the lane that under construct and they met into contact. As a consequence, both drivers fell down into the road and resulted to the driver of V-1 sustained bruised in the left eye with minor injury while the V2 driver sustained only minor injury. Further, the driver of V1 was referred to ZANORTE, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte for further medications while the two (2) motorcycles involved were temporarily deposited to Siayan MPS for proper disposition.
Campaign Against Illegal Fishing
Be informed that PNP Personnel of Leon B. Postigo Municipal Police Station (MPS) composed of PSSg. Juven O. Sumondong and Pcpl. Henry Sali together with the Bantay Dagat led by Mr. Miller Caballero and Abdul Bassit Kamad on Board with a Motorized Pumpboat and proceeded to the Municipal Sea water of Leon B. Postigo purposely to monitor Illegal Fishing activity. At about 1:00 AM of February 10, 2021, the joint team apprehended the fishing boat, known as “OK-OK” with markings “ELCRIS” color Talo Green, “owned by Edwin Linogon a resident of Brgy. Lawis, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte operated by Jerry Rendado Cosep, Filipino, Male, Married, 35 Years Old, (November 7, 1985), Elementary Graduate, Fisherman a resident of Barangay Maras, Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga Del Norte together with his Crew Arnold Ilugsong Banggay, Filipino, Male, Single, 26 years old, (January 27, 1995), Elementary Graduate, Fisherman, Arnold Escuadro Maquiling , Filipino, Male, Married, High School Graduate, Fisherman And Edgar Dumam-Ag Magsalay, Filipino, Male, Married, Elementary Graduate, 43 Years Old (September 5, 1976) all resident of Barangay Talinga, Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte. Subject persons was released from the costudy of Leon B. Postigo after they promise to pay the corresponding penalty of the Municipal Ordinance while the fishing boat was under custody of Bantay Dagat of said municipality.
