Mayor Beng Climaco marks her 55th birthday today with the turn over of 32 Printing and Digital Hubs (Modified Container Vans) to the Department of Education – Zamboanga City Division. These hubs, fully airconditioned and equipped with accessories and printing equipment, are distributed in various School Districts in the City in aid of the production of printed materials and modules needed for blended learning.
More than a politician, Mayor Beng is a teacher and guidance counselor whose heart is really for the children of Zamboanga whom she considers as the VIPs of her administration. DepEd thank the Local Chief Executive for the overwhelming support she has extended to the education sector over the years.
Present during the turn over are District I Representative Jawo Jimenez, Councilor El King Omaga, Councilor Kim Elago and the DepEd Division Office family led by Dr. Victoria Mangaser.
