Typhoon #RollyPH has extremely intensified in the past hours and is now a Category 3 Typhoon (winds of 178 to 207 kph) and runs the risk of becoming a Category 5 Super Typhoon prior to landfall!
Some of the global models reverted back to slight southerly track near Bicol. This includes JMA, ECMWF, and GFS. However, ECMWF is now depicting a possible Camarines Norte landfall over the town of Jose Panganiban on Sunday afternoon, 1 November.
PAGASA’s track as of 11am today, 30 October, is similar with JMA and GFS.
The rest of the models are still in consensus of an Aurora or Northern Quezon landfall.
