Aprubado na ng House Committee on Appropriations ang proposed budget para sa Office of the President sa susunod na taon.
Agad na inaprubahan ni House Committee on Appropriations Chairman Karlo Nograles ang motion ni Albay Representative Edcel Lagman na aprubahan na ang 6.77 billion pesos na budget ng Office of the President matapos ito ipresenta sa komite.
Ang 2019 proposed budget para sa tanggapan ng Pangulo ay mas mataas ng 12.32 percent mula sa kasalukuyang anim na bilyong piso.
Samantala, lusot na rin sa committee level ang proposed 447.6 million pesos na pondo ng Office of the Vice President para sa 2019.
Mas mababa ito ng 95 million pesos mula sa 543 million pesos na pondo ng Office of the Vice President sa kasalukuyang taon.
