Telecom giant Philippine Long Distance Telephone Inc. reported heavy damage in their fiber line infrastructures in Rinconada area during the onslaught of Super Typhoon Rolly last November 01, 2020.
A company source who requested anonymity due to lack of authority to speak on the matter revealed to Pasada Rinconada that their main fiber lines were severely affected due to toppled electrical posts. Their main facility in Iriga City is not operational at the moment. Many subscribers in Rinconada are connected to the Iriga facility.
The same source could not disclose any timeline regarding the estimated time of restoration.
