When there was so much erosion of confidence in our public officials back in 2010 because of unabated corruption, PNoy took the daunting task of restoring the Filipinos’ faith and trust in  government by making those in power accountable for their actions. He also stabilized the economy, expanded social programs, and made meaningful health reforms. Most of all, the Aquino family  never use the enormous power and influence of the presidency to enrich themselves. Our since condolences to the Aquino family n PNoy’s passing. He served his country and people with utmost integrity and sincerity,” mensahi ni Vice Gob. Davide.

Samtang si Kongresista Gullas sa iyang mensahi, ” I am saddened to receive work that former President Benigno “PNoy” Aquino III passed away. I personally knew PNoy, whom I met several times as members of political coalitions and as colleagues in the House of Representatives during  the 11th and 13th Congresses. I personally knew him as simple, decent but humble man. His economic and political leadership has brought our country to the new heights. We were fortunate to have him as President. Rest in Peace, President Noy. I hope that you see your nom and dad in God’s Kingdom.”

Si Presidente Duterte mi-deklara na ug 10-day national mourning pinaagi sa Proclamation No. 1169, gikan sa Hunyo 24 hangtud sa Hulyo 3, sa pagtaliwan ni PNoy.  (Jhon Tadlip/JTY)
