Covid -19 cases in the country stood at 2,830,387 after 863 additional infections were logged on Friday by the Department of Health (DOH).
There were also 791 recoveries 142 deaths.
Of the total number of infections, 0.6 percent (17,853) are active, 97.7 percent (2,764,517) have recovered, and 1.70 percent (48,017) have died.
Seventeen duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 16 are recoveries.
In addition, 77 cases were found to have tested negative and have been removed from the total case count.
Moreover, 128 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
Two labs were not operational on November 24, 2021 while 2 labs were not able to submit their data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System.
Based on data in the last 14 days, the 4 labs contribute, on average, 0.2 percent of samples tested and 0.1 percent of positive individuals.
