VETERANS Jules Samonte and Michelle Morente lead the charge of the Eastern Communications Perlas Spikers in the Beach Volleyball Republic on Tour Santa Ana leg which is ongoing up north in Cagayan.
Samonte and Morente are coached by Reynaldo Diaz Jr. in the event that serves as qualifier for the Philippine National Volleyball Federation Beach Volleyball National Championships in December.
“Perlas Spikers is thrilled to represent Eastern Communications,” Charo Soriano, Managing Director of the Perlas Spikers, said. “We found resonance in being groups that focus on and support grassroot locations while showcasing the greatness of the many wonderful places in the Philippines.”
The Perlas Spikers also participated in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference in Ilocos Norte in July.
